Mystery

Dark.

It’s so dark down here.

I am held, cradled by it.

It’s warm.

Feels like home.

I stretch, yawn, rise,

What’s down here?

Lights sway softly in the distance,

Gently expanding outward.

I feel small.

My eyes grow in the light

I begin to see what I could not see

Before I descended into mystery

My soul beholds the grandeur of Truth

Takes in its form

Drinks in its light

Grows strong in branches of unknowing

Unquenchable delight seizes me

All I ever desired, all that ever I needed

Already here

Awaiting my Fiat

Just waiting

For me

To look

To listen

To sing

This part of me

This part that is me

Needs this

One thing

Mystery
